10 ways to celebrate Singapore National Day with your kids

Time to dust off those party hats as Singapore National Day is nearly here. You’ll know the nation’s birthday is upon us when homes all over Singapore become decorated with red and white flags.

Start preparing for a fun-filled day off with the family on Friday 9th August. We’ve scoured the country to find ten awesome kid-friendly activities that will share your patriotic love for the nation. Don’t forget to dress up in red and white as you get into the spirit and display your love for Singapore!

Head on down to Marina Bay on 9th August to catch the NDP Finale Fireworks show. Part of the NDP 2013 showcase, this is one you certainly can't miss if you didn't get a free ticket! The show will start at 8.10pm and last for 10 minutes, followed by a special fireworks finale. You won’t want to forget your camera! You can also catch a similar live fireworks show on 27th July for the rehearsal and 3rd August for the National Day Preview Show.
