Amazingly Still: a (short) visit to the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery

A mini-museum that any red-blooded boy will enjoy, and enough things surrounding it to keep this mum blogger and her family occupied for most of the afternoon; Mabel takes her son out for a look at the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery at Hill Street, where she makes a “small” discovery:

“It turned out to be quite a small place, and we did not even need an hour to explore the whole place! It has two floors of exhibits, with most of the fire fighting related display on the first floor, and the rest on the second.”

Still, check out how cool the vintage fire engine is! Mabel provides plenty of photos to give you a good idea of what to expect; you can browse through her experience right here: http://amazinglystill.livejournal.com/16553.html

Amazingly Still blogger Mabel Lee left her job at MediaCorp when she found out she was pregnant with Blake. She’s now a stay-at-home mum at is expecting No. 2 in November this year. For more of Mabel’s musings, visit: http://amazinglystill.livejournal.com
