7 Baby-friendly restaurants in Singapore

For many mums and dads, eating at a restaurant with the kids can rapidly turn into a fiasco. You’ve got your fussy eaters rejecting the food. You have your toddler throwing a tantrum and rolling on the floor of the crowded restaurant. Then your cheeky preschooler decides to throw food at an unsuspecting stranger’s back! This is why you need to choose baby-friendly restaurants, and luckily for you, we’ve got you covered!

We’ve listed seven of the best baby-friendly restaurants in Singapore, based on the fact that they have the following features:

  • A friendly staff who actually like babies
  • Clean high chairs
  • A menu that includes kid-friendly and healthy items
  • Entertainment options for your kids (crayons, tablecloth that kids can draw on, etc.)
  • Clean washrooms

This cafe offers Thai-Western fusion food (which are also Halal) and a wide range of craft activities that will keep your children engaged. It’s a bit like a daycare-restaurant hybrid, so it costs $5 an hour (or $5 for every 2 hours on weekdays). Good thing that the art materials are pretty much unlimited.

The restaurant also has a wide range of more advanced crafts materials that parents can purchase. There’s foil art, paper puppets, DIY dolls and monsters, sock monkey kits, and a lot more.

Eat Play Love Cafe is located at the Aliwal Arts Centre. Look for the resto with the quirky vintage aesthetic.

The restaurant provides great value for your money, and it’s got great food and a huge play area with two — yes, two — ball pits. Your kids can play to their heart’s content while you and your spouse enjoy some quality Korean food.

Address: You can choose between their four branches, one at Guillemard Road, one at Robertson Walk, one at Yunga (East Coast), and the other at the West Coast Highway. Visit their website here.
