5 ways to distract your child

No parent likes to see their child depressed or unhappy about anything. Their smile is what lights up your day when you see it, so you want to do everything you can to keep that smile on their face. Sometimes that is easier said then done. Today’s kids have many things to deal with. Public schools are full of bullies, peer pressure and the pressure to strive to do your best. Dancing is a great motivator. And it does not matter if you dance well or not, because your child will be laughing either way. Find the silliest song you can that will make them laugh and want to get up and move right along with you. Even if it is to show you how to do it, that is moving. Dancing and acting silly is the best way for a kid to forget about whatever was making them sad to begin with.
