Go on a cable car ride
Take the cable car ride up Mat Cincang mountain and get a bird’s eye view of legendary Langkawi as well as numerous outlying islands in the distance. The ride is split into stages so you and your kids will have the time to walk around the observatory deck and admire the magnificent surroundings.
If you and your little daredevils are up for a mini adventure, access the SkyBridge from the Top Station to get a different viewpoint of the island and sea towards the north.

Visit the Underwater World
Get acquainted with the world’s largest freshwater fish, Araipamas, at the Underwater World Langkawi. Along with that, your kids will enjoy making funny faces at the cute little rockhopper and black-footed penguins that reside there too.

Feed the animals at Bird Paradise and Wildlife Park
Langkawi Bird Paradise and Wildlife Park is the perfect place to be, rain or shine. All the walkways are fully covered so your kids will be able to explore the area without worrying about the scorching sun or the heavy rain.
Don’t forget to purchase a bag filled with pellets, chopped apples, sliced carrots and cabbage at the entrance so that your kids can have a ball of a time feeding animals such as donkeys, deer and peacocks.

Tour mangrove swamps
Explore Sungai Kilim Nature Park by cruising down the calm, winding river in a boat. The boat trip takes you past several limestone caves, mangrove swamps and further inland, to the dense forest.
Snap away with your cameras at the fish and shrimp larvae as they wind their way through a tangle of mangrove roots seeking food, shelter and protection from predators.
Also enjoy the spectacular views of unique limestone rock formations emerging from the floor of the mangrove swamp and seabed.
