5 things to do with the kids during the night

The setting of the sun does not signal the end of good times with the family, even with little ones in tow. Here are 5 things to do with the kids during the night:

Have a kickabout
Both father and son can engage in playing soccer when you reserve a spot at a 24/7 indoor court. You can try out The Cage, which gets its name from a cage like court where teams can hone their soccer skills, and live their childhood fantasies of becoming an EPL star. The best part is that The Cage is made up of indoor courts and is open all hours of the day, so family bonding with a soccer ball can take place regardless of weather or the time of day.

Make a dedication
The Fountain of Wealth at Suntec City comes alive at night with beaming lasers and music. Make your kids’ visit extra special by dedicating a song to your wife or kid by choosing their favourite song. It’ll be a blast watching your child’s face light up as he hears his favourite song resonating through the fountain for all to hear.

Watch as the waters dance
Remember Setosa’s musical fountain back in the day? You can get nostalgic sitting on the  Marina Bay boardwalk looking out at the city skyline as the Wonder-full show starts. trust us, your family will be enchanted by stunning visual effects with colourful lasers, holographic images and giant streaming water screens by the bay.

Cycling
Exercising at night might not seem very fun to your child but night time cycling could prove to be an interesting and exciting experience for both parent and child. If you don’t own a bicycle, you can rent one at the many bicycle shops along East Coast beach. Overnight rentals start from $10 (7pm till 7am the next day) and come equipped with safety lights. So explore Singapore after dark on a bicycle built for two!

Camping
Rough it out for a night or two and go camping with the kids. Have a barbeque and grill chicken, hot dogs and even steak. You should also bring marshmallows to roast with the kids as you play games and share ghost stories. End the night with some stargazing by the beach as no permits are needed to set up camp on the beach at Changi Beach Park, East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Park, Sembawang Park or West Coast Park.

What are some night-activities that you enjoy bonding over with your kids?
