2013 seems like it’s going to be an exciting year! There are many thrilling new activities in 2013 which will give your kid the time of their life in the coming year. Here is our list of the top 5 new activities for your kids.

1. Universal Studios Singapore

Arguably Singapore’s biggest attraction, Universal Studios Singapore is a must-visit for the whole family if you haven’t done so already. There is now even more compelling reasons to make a trip to this theme park. According to an article on the Los Angeles Times, there are 3 new rides coming to the theme park in 2013. One of them includes a wacky and humorous Sesame Street dark ride while the other 2 rides are still a mystery. Now that all the roller coasters are functioning again and the operating hours are extended to close at 9pm instead of 6pm, USS Singapore is the number 1 attraction in 2013. There will be so many activities to do there you probably won’t know where to start!

2. Krispy Creme

Kids love junk food and they will definitely be thrilled to know that popular food outlet chain, Krispy Crème is finally coming to Singapore. It is indeed puzzling why it took this long for Krispy Crème to come to Singapore but it’s better late than never. According to an article published on poachedmag website, 15 Krispy Kreme stores will be invading our sunny island from 2013 to 2015.

3. Kidsfest 2013 

Brace yourself for one hell of a good time as Kidsfest makes it way to Singapore. From the 16th January to the 10th of February, Kidsfest brings you a whole host of exciting new shows ranging from ‘Mr Bean The Extraordinary Adventures of An Ordinary Man’ to ‘Horrible Histories live on stage: Ruthless Romans’. 4. Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The classic tale of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ is coming to Singapore from 8 Mar – 21 Apr 2013 at the DBS Arts Centre. Filled with songs from the renowned award-winning West-End musical theatre song writing duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, this delightful musical is perfect for the entire family.

5. Gardens by the Bay

Singapore’s newest attraction, Gardens by the Bay was finally opened on 29th of June 2012. Head down to the Gardens located near Marina Bay Sands with your kids and embark on a fun filled experience. There is no admission fee so feel free to take a nice stroll through the Gardens and just enjoy the beautiful scenery together with the little ones who will surely be awed by the spectacular beauty of nature.
